Communicating With God....or Not!

Perhaps the most asked question, "Why doesn't God Respond to me?", is a question that needs to be answered. God wants us to know "The mystery of His will" and He doesn't want to withhold anything from us as we are heirs of the Kingdom through Christ. In fact, the Bible tells us that He wants to declare His wondrous works through us and He cant accomplish that if we're lacking and confused all of the time. God so loved you that He gave His only begotten Son and he His love can never be put into question. God's purpose for redemption is for establishing covenant with His People. So what is it then brothers and sisters that seems to divide us or separate us from God, causing us to feel so superficial with our relationships with Him?

Thursday night November 20th 7:30 pm, we will find Biblical solutions to this problem and answer that question. See ya there!

I definitely have asked that question before, and I am sure I will be asking it again. We want so badly for God's will to line up with what we want and for it to be conformed to our set of circumstances or beliefs. Fact is, God just wants to grow closer to us and for us to spread His name to others. If we are doing anything to mess that up then we can't expect divine intervention. Doesn't mean we are cut off in our own lives but that God wants to show us what we are REALLY searching for even though we don't know it. God is good. See ya'll thursday!

I have asked that question before as well. I think a lot of us can attest to the fact that there have been specific prayers that have been answered, so we know that God answers our prayers. These things however, have to line up with His word and will. We can't ask God for something that is outside of His character and expect it to be answered.

We have to be seeking His face. There is a verse that I love that says "Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him." I think it all comes back to the 2 greatest commandments. When we are not doing these, we can't expect to be close to God. Our sin does seperate us from Him. But when we let Christ's love, truth, and character shine through us, we will not feel superficial.

Im excited for tonight!
