Hey guys and gals,
We will be having a rare non-Thursday Pinflow, rather will be meeting Tuesday, December 30th at 7:30pm. We want to ready ourselves for what the 09 year is going to bring us.....or what we're going to bring the 09 year. This year has been a year with a common theme of "Introspection" and looking at yourself through the mirror of God's Word. As young adults we have to be extremely careful not to fall into that, slave to societies demands, mode. We have to be watchful unto prayer as Christ commanded so that we don't approach each day with a "whatever happens" mentality but rather with a unremitting resolve to set the tone for each day with a proactive spirit. As children of God we don't live life by chance but we live life and each day looking for and even creating opportunities.
As you read the Bible thoroughly you will see unambiguously that the standard we are mandated to live by is not compatible with this "anything goes" culture and you are going to need accountability along with your already daily commitment to your personal relationship with Jesus Christ to sustain. David said it and it is repeated in the New Testament, "Don't forsake the assembling of yourselves together". And while it is true that we can have a personal relationship with Christ without church, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that a true believer would neglect those things that will sharpen his/her faith and foster their values. So the Pinflow Ministry is a strong proponent of small group accountability and discourages isolated Christianity. If you don't continue in fellowship with us in 09 I urge you as a brother in Christ to find it at another full Gospel church that's not going to preach salvation as a license to sin or merely fire insurance to escape damnation while you live as you please. You will have your fair share of challenges in 09, but we will be a support for you in prayer, encouragement, and community.
Let's make a conscience effort to become men and women of the faith in our personal life as well in our relationships. Paul says, "We are walking epistles, open for men to read", and it is our responsibility to express Christ to this world. Let's enjoy Christmas thanking God for the true reason we have this momentous occasion to celebrate and let's usher in the New year determined to commit to faith building through our daily devotion and our communion with like minded people.

Dusty graduated from Etowah High School in '99. While working a full-time job he managed to also graduate from Beulah Heights University in '06 with a Bachelors Degree in Leadership Administration. Prayer is going to be the key to seeing God released to do what he already wants to do, so we all need more prayer time, right?
So i'm finally leaving a comment! There is rejoicing in the heavens! This new year, I would like to see us take accountability seriously within Pinflow, more specifically, within our small groups, and to really utilize each other! We've seen so much growth already, and I'm sure all of us can admit that we aren't giving God the time and devotion that we should on a daily basis. So imagine what Pinflow would look like if and when we do?
